Games of the Day:
RV Holy Cross @ Governors State 6pm CT Live Video
Holy Cross will look to get a road CCAC win tonight to keep them in 1st place in the CCAC. Governors State hasn’t had the best of seasons, but will have upset on their minds today. If they are going to have any success at an upset bid, they will need to guard the 3pt line and especially Storm Cook.
7 Faulkner @ Middle Georgia State 7pm ET Live Video
Two of the most elite scorers in the SSAC in CJ Williamson (Faulkner) and Jordan Willis (MGA) are in this game, but it’s Jordan Hamlette of Faulkner who comes into this game on fire. Middle Georgia sits 2 games behind Faulkner in the SSAC East standings, but have two games at home this weekend against Faulkner to try and close that gap. Faulkner has been really good this season with their only loss coming at the hands of #1 Indiana Wesleyan. They look primed and ready to make a deep run at the NAIA National Tournament.
Mayville State @ Dickenson State 7:30pm CT Live Video
Dickenson sits just 1 game back of Mayville State for 1st place in the NSAA. Dickenson has been a bit up and down this season, but have played well in big games. Mayville has been good on the road thus far and will look to continue to pad their NSAA lead.
– 6th in the SSAC in scoring at 17.32ppg
– 10th in the SSAC in rebounding at 6.9rpg
– 19th in the SSAC in assists per game at 2.63
Matt has struggled shooting a bit as of late. However if he can get himself back going he is an elite scorer, especially for his size. He is a tough kid, who this Florida College team needs in order to get back in the win column after losing 4 straight.
One of the more elite shooters in the county!
– 11th in the NAIA in 3FGM at 3.5 per game.
– 15th in the NAIA in FT% shooting 90%
– 11th in the CCAC in Scoring @ 16.50ppg
He was held under 10pts for the first time all season last game. His 3 previous games before that were all 23pts or higher. Storm can get cooking in a hurry and when he does it’s lights out!
– 12th in the SSAC in scoring at 15.5ppg
– 7th in the SSAC in APG at 3.25
Jordan comes into this game on a crazy good 4 game stretch that has seen him put up 30, 24, 18 and 25pts. He is still the Robin to CJ Williamson (Batman), but the kid can flat play. He is just a Sophomore and will be the new Batman soon for the Eagles!
– 2nd in the NorthStar in Scoring at 18.88ppg
– 9th in the NorthStar in Assists at 2.53apg
Bryce has been a big time scoring threat this season. He is coming off of back to back 20+ point games and will look to continue his good season tonight.
– 4th in the NSAA in scoring at 17.08ppg
– 6th in the NSAA in rebounding at 6.39ppg
The Sophomore has been good for Viterbo this season. He is coming off of his worst games of the season, but prior to that he was on quite the run with 7 straight games of 16pts or more.
