KCAC Championship Breakdown

6PM CT – Hartman Arena | Park City, KS | Watch Live

I am not sure ANYONE in the NAIA has done more for their at-large opportunity than what Bethel has done in the KCAC Tournament. The Threshers finished the season really well, but their RPI was still pretty high in the last rankings. After their opening round win over 6-seed York and then blasting Sterling in the semifinals, you can pencil the Threshers in no matter what happens in this game tonight! Of course, they still have their eyes on the KCAC Title tonight. The Threshers will lean on veterans Bryant Mocaby and Clifford Byrd II in this one. They will also lean on KCAC Freshman of the Year, Carmelo Yakubu. For Southwestern, what All-American, Cevin Clark has done over his past 3 games is unbelievable. The KCAC’s leading scorer has put up games of 39,44 and 33 points during that span. The guard hasn’t been held to less than 20 points since January 21st. The Builders come into this game winners of 7 of their last 8 games. That loss you ask…is to Bethel. This should be a big-time ball game between two very hot teams. Winner gets the 2nd KCAC auto-bid!!
