Men’s Games of the Day
Montreat @ Tennessee Wesleyan – 6pm CT
This is a very intriguing Appalachian Athletic Conference game tonight. Montreat looked good in their first game of the year with a AAC win over Milligan. Stud Freshman, Noah Dunn, is a future AAC Player of the Year winner. He was an All-AAC selection last season and went for 26pts, 13rebs in his first game this season. They have to hit the road tonight though to play a very tough and gritty TWU squad that is led by Seniors, Ty Patterson and Bryant Bernard. The Bulldogs are tough to beat at home but this should be a GREAT game!
#25 IU Southbend vs Holy Cross – 4pm CT
Holy Cross is coming off a HUGE win versus Bethel (IN) and will be looking to carry that momentum into a huge win tonight over #25 IUSB. South Bend is actually coming off of a loss to that same Bethel (IN) team. This is their first home game of the season though after spending the first three games traveling across Michigan and Indiana. Dylan Allen will look to get his CCAC season off to a bang for IUSB. The Senior has had a great career. Holy Cross will need to slow him down and will look for Ryan Black to stay hot and deliver big again. It is a team full of newcomers, so you can expect some up and downs. However, this is a CCAC conference game, so should be a battle!
Women’s Games of the Day
#15 Lyon @ RV Rust 6pm CT
Rust 6-0 and is coming off a win over D2 Lemoyne-Owen. The GCAC preseason favorites have a tough task tonight though as they welcome #15 Lyon to town. This is the first, of a tough 3 game stretch for Lyon. This will be their first road test of the season, so we will see if they can start this tough week off on a high note!
RV Dordt @ RV Bellevue – 7pm CT
Bellevue comes into this game 2-2 on the season, but played #9 CUNE really tough on the road. They are coming off a bit of a tough loss to College of Saint Mary, but can have a nice bounce back win tonight. Dordt comes in with a 2-1 record and will look to move to 3-0 vs NSAA opponents. They just knocked off #13 Dakota State last week, so they should have plenty of confidence coming into a tough road matchup!
