MSU-Northern @ Rochester (MI) 4pm CT
Always love when teams travel long distances to play games with teams who we don’t see matched up against one another every year. The Lights have a tough test against the defending WHAC Champions, Rochester. A team that returns it’s top two scorers in All-American Forward, Virgil Walker Jr. and guard, AJ Johnson. We will have to see if Mascio McCadney and company are up to the challenge in what should be a fun matchup, if the traveling distance doesn’t affect MSU-N.
#6 LSU-Shreveport @ #5 Loyola 7:30pm CT
Our 1st Top 25 matchup of the season is a TOP 10 battle in New Orleans! There is so much talent on the floor in this one, even if Shreveport is without All-American, Leondre Washington again. This will be a high flying affair, as both teams have elite size, length and athleticism. Shreveport is coming off of a home loss to MACU and will be hungry to not lose their 2nd game in a row. This will play out more like a neutral site game though, as Hurricane Ida has Loyola without a gym this season. Loyola boasts a very balanced lineup as they have had three different leading scorers in their first three games. None of which have been by either All-American in Zach Wrightsil or Myles Burns. This will have a NAIA Round of 16 type feel to it.

A top 25 showdown highlights our Women’s Game of the Day. The defending National Champs, Westmont, battled D1 California well into the 4th quarter. They look ready to defend, but the back to back Cascade Conference Champions, Bushnell will look to prove they are ready for the challenge tonight. If they want to win they are going to have to slow down defending NAIA Player of the Year, Stefanie Berberabe and 1st Team All-American Iyree Jarrett.
