Five Men’s Players to Watch
#3 Trey Petty 6’3 Sr*, Stillman
2020-21 3rd Team All-American
A very electric scorer, Petty can fill up the stat sheet in a hurry. This Stllman group gets a bit overlooked at times, but he and Merriweather are back from their Group of 16 appearance last season and the dynamic duo are a lot of fun to watch.
#33 Bailey Basala 6’4 Sr*, Mount Mercy
Maybe not a well known name as others, but this is also what this segment is for. Basala is one of the best shooters in the country and with All-American Dennis McKinney headed off to the pros, this is Basala’s team and he is capable of going off for 10+ 3’s every game!
#10 Kaleb Stokes 6’6 So., OKWU
2020-21 HM All-American
Kaleb is coming off of a really nice 2020-21 campaign. The Eagles now lose fellow All-American Brooks Haddock so Kaleb will be looked upon to fill even bigger shoes this season.
#21 Kyran Jones, 6’6 So., Georgetown
2020-21 HM All-American
Kyran has one of the biggest motors in the NAIA. He is a double-double machine and if you don’t match his effort he will make it a long night for you.
#55 Zach Goodline 6’1 Jr, Huntington
2020-21 2nd Team All-Crossroads League
Zach, after transferring from D1 Oakland U, came into Huntington and made his presence felt right away averaging 17.3ppg, 5.0apg 4.5rpg and 1.3spg. He gets his season started off tonight and you can expect a BIG season from the Junior guard. Plus how can you not want to watch a guard who wears #55!?

#9 Indiana Wesleyan vs RV Olivet Nazarene 6pm CT
When you have two of the best BIGS in the NAIA going at it, it is hard to not have this as a GOTD. Alex Gross, 2020-21 1st Team All-American vs Seth Maxwell, 2020-21 3rd Team All-American. Both have been featured this season in our Five Players to Watch segment and honestly they are must watch players every game they play. While both teams have more than just these two players, the big man battle set the tone for this game as IWU wants to push the tempo and ONU will look to slow the pace of play wayyy down. Should be a fun one in Luckey Arena tonight. One of the hardest places for road teams to win at in the country!
#16 OKWU vs John Brown (AR) – 7pm CT
A lot of good games to choose from tonight, but this John Brown team may cause some issues for OKWU tonight. It is a road game, but Luke Harper and Densier Carnes are really good players and if they can limit Kaleb Stokes in this one, they can come away with a big road win. Going to be interesting to see how OKWU looks without the shooting prowess of Brooks Haddock.
