NSAA Standings

Mayville State (13-4 10-3 NSAA)-Picked up a weekend sweep and earned at least a share of the regular season conference title. Mayville defeated Viterbo 66-63, Latrelle Franklin led the Comets with 16 points. Mayville completed the weekend sweep with a 79-45 win over Waldorf, Franklin led all scorers with 16 points.

(RV) Valley City (17-6 8-5 NSAA)-The Viking split their weekend homestand. VCSU fell to Bellevue by a score of 89-77, Jalen Addison led the Vikings with 19 points. The Vikings bounced back with a 74-63 victory over Dakota State, Addison and Kevin Schramm each had 13 points to lead the Vikings.

Bellevue (16-13,8-5 NSAA)- Bellevue earned a weekend split this past weekend. The Bruins defeated (RV) Valley City 89-77, Eric Pierce led all scorers with 24 points and added 10 rebounds for a double-double. Bellevue than fell to Dickinson 67-65 Michael Wright led the Bruins with 16 points.

Viterbo (11-7 8-5 NSAA)-The V-Hawks split their weekend road trip. Viterbo fell to Mayville, 66-63, Noah Fredrickson led all scorers with 22 points. Viterbo than defeated Presentation 82-66 Robert Cunitz led the V-Hawks with 23 points.   

Dakota State (9-13 7-6 NSAA)-The Trojans split their conference weekend, The Trojans defeated Dickinson 63-60, Gairges Daow led the Trojans with 17 points. Dakota State than fell to (RV) Valley City 74-63, Gare Ewefada led all scorers with 17 points.

Dickinson State (9-15 6-7 NSAA)-The BlueHawks split their weekend homestand. Dickinson fell to Dakota State 63-60, Ajdin Toskic led all scorers with 19 points. Dickinson bounced back to defeat Bellevue 67-65 Toskic and Trey Hladky led all scorers with 17 points. 

Waldorf (5-16 4-9 NSAA)– The Warriors were swept this past weekend, the Warriors first fell to Presentation 84-77, Lorenzo Smith led the Warriors with 17 points. Waldorf than fell to Mayville 79-45, Tristan Ferguson and Kesean Warren each had 14 points for the Warriors. 

Presentation (4-22 1-12 NSAA)-The Saints split their conference weekend and earned their first NSAA win of the season. PC defeated Waldorf, 84-77, Ian Kelly led all scorers with 28 points. Presentation than fell to Viterbo 82-66, Jalonni McCorvey led all scorers with 24 points.  


Pomโ€™s Power Rankings

  1. Mayville- Earned the top seed for the conference tournament and will have the opportunity to earn an automatic bid to the National Tournament on their home floor.
  2. (RV) Valley City-With the loss to Bellevue the Vikings now have to win the NSAA tournament to make the National Tournament
  3. Bellevue- Up and down weekend for the Bruins, can earn the opportunity to host at least two playoff games with a victory over Dakota State.
  4. Viterbo- Lost a heartbreaker to Mayville, will be a threat in the conference tournamentย ย  ย ย 
  5. Dakota State-losing their leading scorer will hurt in this stretch run. .
  6. Dickinson State-their up and down season continued this weekend. Need to find some consistency.ย ย  ย 
  7. Waldorf-Tough weekend need to regroup before the conference tournament
  8. Presentation-Picked up their first conference win. Big game with Mayville to get some momentum, before a rematch with the Comets in the opening round of the NSAA tournament.

NSAA Conference Tournament Information

            This season all 3 rounds of the tournament will be held at the higher seeds home site. The winner of the tournament will be the lone AQ from the NSAA to the National Tournament. With each team having one game to play here is what we know in terms of seeding.
