Lyon College (Ark) (2-2,2-0)- The Scots started their week with a loss to LSU Alexandria and picked up their first win of the season on Thursday with a lopsided victory over Hannibal-LaGrange (Mo). The team followed up Thursday’s win with an impressive win over Missouri Baptist and Saturday against William Woods . The team is back in action on Tuesday at Central Baptist (Ark), Thursday at Bacone (Okla). The Scots used a balanced attack in their conference wins last week, as Ray Price, Cole Anderson, and Faris Verlasovic helped lead the team to two big wins.

Central Baptist (Ark) (5-2,1-0)- The Mustangs start AMC play 1-0 after a win over Health and Sciences Pharmacy on Thursday, and a non-conference loss to Rust (Miss). This week, the team hosts Lyon College on Tuesday, William Woods (Mo) on Thursday, and Missouri Baptist on Saturday. The team got good play last week out of Tedrick Wolfe, Tajaun Johnson, and Zach Johnson as they notched double-figure scoring numbers in both games last week.

Williams Baptist (Ark) (3-4,2-0)- The Eagles got a big win to open AMC play against William Woods (Mo) on Thursday and Hannibal-LaGrange (Mo) on Saturday. The team is back in action on Tuesday as they host Missouri Baptist, and Thursday as they visit Harris-Stowe State (Mo).The team got good play out of Shakeel Butters and Cortez King to pick-up two conference wins last week. 

Columbia (Mo) (7-3,1-1)- The Cougars started the week with a non-conference win over Missouri Valley College on Monday, before dropping their AMC opener to Missouri Baptist. The team responded with a lopsided win over Health and Sciences Pharmacy on Saturday for their first conference win. This week the team is scheduled to visit Hannibal-LaGrange (Mo) on Thursday and host Harris-Stowe State (Mo) on Saturday. The Cougars got strong play out of Harrison Vickers and Tony Burks to get two wins last week.

Missouri Baptist (5-3,1-1)-The Spartans opened conference play with an impressive and decisive victory over Columbia (Mo) before falling to Lyon (Ark) on Saturday. This week, the team is scheduled to visit Williams Baptist (Ark) on Tuesday, host Health and Sciences Pharmacy on Thursday and visit Central Baptist (Ark) on Saturday. The team got good play out of Jadis White, John Yeager and Brendan Hardy, who all had double-figure scoring performances last week.

William Woods (Mo) (1-3,1-1)- To start the season, the Owls jumped right into the fire, as they hosted (5) Arizona Christian and (18) Talladega (Ala) falling short in both. To start conference play, the team fell just short against Williams Baptist (Ark), but regrouped for their first win of the season against Harris-Stowe State (Mo). This week the team is scheduled to have a three-game road trip starting with Health and Sciences Pharmacy (Mo) on Tuesday, Central Baptist (Ark) on Thursday and Lyon College (Ark) on Saturday. The Owls got good play from Spencer Yoggerst and Andrew Nett as both players notched double-figure performances in both contests last week.

Harris-Stowe State (Mo)- The Hornets played their first game of 2021 on Saturday and fell short in their AMC opener to William Woods (Mo). The team is scheduled to host Hannibal-LaGrange on Tuesday, Williams Baptist (Ark) on Thursday and Columbia (Mo) on Saturday. The team got good play from Jamarr Joseph, Nick McKenzie and Nigel Hightower, who all scored in double-figures in the loss.

Hannibal-LaGrange (1-8,0-2)- The Trojans had a rough start to AMC play, as the team dropped two lopsided contests to Lyon (Ark) and Williams Baptist (Ark). This week the team is scheduled to visit Harris-Stowe State (Mo) on Tuesday, host Columbia (Mo) on Thursday and visit Health and Sciences Pharmacy on Saturday. Grant Peters led the team in scoring for the weekend, with two double-figure performances.

Health and Sciences Pharmacy (Mo) (1-9,0-2)- The Eutectics had a rough weekend with two lopsided losses to open conference play. The losses came against Central Baptist (Ark) and Columbia (Mo).This week the team is scheduled to host William Woods (Mo) on Tuesday, visit Missouri Baptist on Thursday, and host Hannibal-LaGrange on Saturday.
