Heading into the last week of the regular season in NAIA DII. Here is how the conference tournament seeding currently looks like!

Appalachian Athletic Conference

  • 8 Teams Qualify for AAC Tournament
    • Union defeated Montreat to move back into 1st place! Both teams have looked like the Top 2 teams in the league for most of the season. However, neither have looked unbeatable. The AAC Tournament could be a really interesting one. One team to watch, and it’s not a lock for them to make it into the AAC tourney yet, but Tennessee Wesleyan has now won 8 straight games, including a win AT Union. They currently sit as the 6 seed in the tournament. The conference wraps up action this Saturday!
    • Current Matchups:
      • 1. Union (17-6) vs 8. Bryan (12-11)
      • 2. Montreat (16-6) vs 7. Kentucky Christian (12-11)
      • 3. Allen (15-9) vs 6. Tennessee Wesleyan (12-10)
      • 4. Columbia International (13-9) vs 5. Milligan (13-9)

Association of Independent Institutions

  • 8 Teams Qualify for Aii Tournament
    • We were wrong on our last round of Aii Seeding. We have since found out that the Aii goes off of a rating system as their seeds for their Tournament. Both teams from the Aii Tournament Championship game, as well as the winner of the 3rd place game, will all qualify for the NAIA DII National Tournament.
    • Current Matchups:
      • 1. Washington Adventist (22-7) vs 8. Lincoln Christian (8-19)
      • 2. Voorhees (18-8) vs 7. Crowley’s Ridge (10-18)
      • 3. Lincoln (IL) (17-12) vs 6. Haskell (17-13)
      • 4. College of Ozarks (17-11) vs 5. Fisher (16-11)

California Pacific Conference

  • 4 Teams Qualify for CAL PAC Tournament
    • Antelope Valley clinched the Cal Pac regular season crown this past week. UC Merced has also clinched their spot in the Cal Pac Tournament. Cal-Maritime and Simpson both just need 1 win to clinch their spot in the tournament.
    • Current Matchups:
      • 1. Antelope Valley (10-0) vs 4. Simpson (6-4)
      • 2. UC Merced (6-4) vs 3. Cal Maritime (6-4)

Cascade Collegiate Conference

  • 8 Teams qualify for the CCC Touranment
    • College of Idaho has clinched the CCC Regular Season Championship. The Yotes have steamrolled through a very good conference. Oregon Tech got a big win over Southern Oregon this past week. The win moved them into the 3 Seed. Multnomah had a chance to lock up their first CCC playoff birth last Saturday, but a home loss to Corban, has now given Corban new life. Neither team has an easy path over these next two games, but Corban does get two home games, while Multnomah has to go to Southern Oregon, and to Oregon Tech.
    • Current Matchups:
      • 1. College of Idaho (18-0) vs 8. Multnomah (7-11)
      • 2. Southern Oregon (14-4) vs 7. Warner Pacific (9-9)

      • 4. Northwest (11-6) vs. 5. Northwest Christian (9-9)

Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference

  • 8 Teams Qualify for CCAC Tournament
    • Olivet Nazarene and Holy Cross have both punched their tickets to the NAIA DII National Tournament, but the battle for the 1 seed is in the CCAC Tournament is still going on! Governors State just needs 1 win, or a Saint Francis (IL) loss, over the last 2 games, and they lock up a spot in the CCAC Tournament.
    • Current Matchups:
      • 1. Olivet Nazarene (18-2) vs. 8. Governors St (10-10)
      • 2. Holy Cross (18-2) vs. 7. Saint Ambrose (11-9)

      • 4. Saint Xavier (13-7) vs. 5. Robert Morris (12-8)

Crossroads League

  • 8 Teams Qualify for Crossroads Tournament
    • Heading into tonight’s games, the Crossroads League still has 9 of it’s 10 teams battling it out for the 8 team tournament. While the Top 3 teams are sitting pretty, the 5th-9th place teams right now are separated by just 2 games, and a loss can move you back 3-4 spots in the standings, and could even mean your playing for your postseason life on Saturday.
    • Current Matchups:
      • 1. Indiana Wesleyan (14-2) vs. 8. MVNU (7-9)
      • 2. Marian (13-3) vs. 7. Bethel (7-9)

      • 4. Saint Francis (8-8) vs. 5. Spring Arbor (8-8)

Great Plains Athletic Conference

  • 8 Teams Qualify for GPAC Tournament
    • Morningside has already locked up the GPAC Regular Season Championship. The rest of the GPAC is up for a BIG week, as they are another league that has almost every seed up for grabs. One of the more interesting story lines in the GPAC will be the 8 seed. Hastings currently sits 1 game up on both Briar Cliff, and Midland. You have some big time Seniors, who’s careers will be coming to an end this week.
    • Current Matchups:
      • 1. Morningside (17-2) vs. 8. Hastings (6-12)
      • 2. Dakota Wesleyan (12-6) vs. 7. Jamestown (9-9)
      • 3. Northwestern (12-6) vs. 6. Concordia (10-8)
      • 4. Dordt (12-7) vs. 5. Mount Marty (10-8)

Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference

  • 8 Teams Qualify for KCAC Tournament
    • While things cleared up a little bit this past week, the KCAC is still primed for a big last week, as every seed is up for the taking still, and you can expect lots of movement in these last two games.
    • Current Matchups:
      • 1. Ottawa (17-5) vs 8. Avila (9-13)
      • 2. Oklahoma Wesleyan (14-6) vs. 7. Kansas Wesleyan (14-8)

    • Bellevue beat Mayville St. this week to clinch the NSAA Regular Season Championship. The win gives them the 1 seed in the tournament. As of right now the 1, 2, 6, 7, and 8 seeds in this tournament are locked in. With the 3, 4, and 5 seeds up for grab this week!
    • Current Matchups:

      • 4. Dickinson State (6-5) vs. 5. Waldorf (6-5)

River States Conference

  • 8 Teams Qualify for River States Tournament
    • WVU Tech continues to be the best team in the River States, as they picked up two more wins this past week. Currently, this is the only league that splits into two divisions, so the Tournament format is fun in the 1st round, as these teams will only have seen each other one time this season.
    • Current Matchups:
      • E1 WVU Tech (14-1) vs. W4 Midway (6-8)
      • W1 IU Kokomo (12-2) vs. E4 Ohio Christian (5-9)
      • E2 IU East (12-2) vs. W3 Alice Lloyd (7-7)

The Sun Conference

  • 6 Teams Qualify for The Sun Tournament
    • Southeastern has won 4 straight games, including a BIG win this past week at Keiser. The win moves them a half game up over Keiser for 1st place with a chance to clinch the regular season Sun Conference Title with a win on Saturday over Ave Maria. Florida Memorial is the only team outside of the current seeds, that can still play itself in. However, they travel to Keiser on Wednesday, so it will be no easy task this week.
    • Current Matchups:
      • 1. Southeastern (14-3) Bye
      • 2. Keiser (13-3) Bye
      • 3. Ave Maria (12-5) vs. 6. Coastal Georgia(7-9)
      • 4. St. Thomas (10-6) vs. 5. Warner (7-9)

Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference

  • 8 Teams Qualify for WHAC Tournament
    • After a BIG week for Indiana Tech, they are now in 1st place in the WHAC with two games to go. One win out of their last two will clinch a regular season title. UNOH has snuck into the 8th seed for now, and will have a BIG matchup on Wednesday vs. Aquinas who is 1 of 3 teams nipping at their feet for that final seed. Cornerstone has now won 3 in a row, and will have a chance on Saturday to take a 4 game win streak into the WHAC Tournament. Kim Elders is a NAIA Hall of Fame coach, and I would not count out this Cornerstone team in the Tournament.
    • Current Matchups:
      • 1. Indiana Tech (14-4) vs. 8. UNOH (6-12)
      • 2. Lourdes (12-6) vs. 7. Sierra Heights (9-8)
      • 3. Madonna (12-6) vs. 6. UM-Dearborn (10-8)
      • 4. Rochester (9-7) vs. 5. Cornerstone (11-8)
