Here is the 3rd regular season installment of the NAIA Hoops Report DI Top 25. This one was the hardest one yet, as there was so much that has happened in the last month since the last poll. There are still several teams on the outside looking in, that are deserving of a Top 25 spot, but through our process, these are the current 25 teams we settled on.

RankTeamOverall
1Georgetown (Ky.)
– Still playing without leading scorer Nico Clareth, but the defending National Champs still have plenty of talent.
15-0
2Mid-America Christian (Okla.)
-MACU is rolling through some of the best in the Sooner Athletic Conference. Ashford Golden is playing like and All-American as he leads MACU with 17.6ppg.
15-0
3William Penn (Iowa)
-The Heart of America is down a bit, but the Statesmen have a conference win margin of +21pts, and added what looks to be a nice piece at semester.
15-1
4Westmont (Calif.)
-Only loss was to NCAA D1 UC-Santa Barbara. They start a 7 game home stretch this week with #10 The Master’s.
17-1
5Providence (Mont.)
– Coming off first loss of the season against #12 Carroll. Led by 2 All-Americans in Brandon Cotton, and possible Player of the Year Zaccheus Darko-Kelly.
15-1
6Dalton State (GA.)
– Coach Ireland and Dalton St. have won 8 in a row. Randy Bell and Kevon Tucker are becoming a good duo.
15-1
7Lewis-Clark State (Idaho)
– Only loss on the year was @ #12 Carroll. They also beat NCAA D1 Idaho earlier in year. All-American Damek Mitchell is having another All-American worthy season.
15-1
8LSU Shreveport (La.)
– The Pilots are coming off a road loss to Huston-Tillotson,and have a BIG game against #13 LSU-Alexandria this week. Tra’Quan Knight is as good as anyone in the country.
15-2
9John Brown (Ark.)
– They currently sit as the #1 scoring defensive team in DI. Luke Harper leads them in scoring at 16.7ppg.
13-2
10The Master’s (Calif.)
– One of the bigger teams in all of NAIA. However, the Mustangs have lost back to back games now, and have lost 3 games since the last rankings came out.
14-3
11Faulkner (Ala.)
– 3 Top 25 Wins, and 3 losses are to two Top 25 teams, and a NCAA D2 program, all by a combined 12 points. They have won 5 straight now, and stock is definitely rising.
14-3
12Carroll (Mont.)
– Two BIG home conference road wins against #5 Providence, and #7 Lewis-Clark St. Carroll’s youngsters are starting to mature, and they are proving they can beat anyone.
13-3
13LSU Alexandria (La.)
– A team that shoots a ton of 3’s, but they are also shooting 41% from 3, and are making an NAIA best 13.3 3’s a game. Chris Vickers is the real deal, and leads Alexandria at 17.1ppg.
14-4
14Texas Wesleyan
– TX Wesleyan has won 4 straight now, and are just a game back of 1st in the Sooner Athletic Conference. Sam Lorenzen leads them in scoring at 15.6ppg.
12-3
15Pikeville (Ky.)
-Have been a little banged up, and have now lost 3 of their last 4 games. Have a BIG home game this week against #16 Shawnee State.
15-3
16Shawnee State (Ohio)
– Currently sitting in 2nd place in the Mid-South, the Bears have won 8 of their last 9 games with that loss being to #1 Georgetown.
15-4
17Talladega (Ala.)
– A team who is loaded with talent. They have won 6 of last 7 now, and are good enough to win the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference.
14-3
18Loyola (La.)
– After a hot start, Loyola has cooled off a bit now losing 4 of their last 7 contests. This Loyola team is still a young, but talented, and can make another deep run in Kansas City.
13-4
19Xavier (La.)
– Won 9 of last 10 games. Only loss was to #18 Loyola. All-Americans William Lloyd and Rayshawn Mart continue to be a force on both ends of the floor.
13-4
20Stillman College (Ala.)
– Coming off of the loss to Wiliam Carey, but they did get All-American Prince McDaniel back at break. Stillman should stay around the top of the Southern League for most of the year.
9-4
21SAGU (Texas)
– A team that doesn’t get talked about a lot, but at 12-2, it is time to start taking notice. Nykolas Mason has been phenomenal, averaging 19.8ppg this season.
12-2
22William Carey
– Won 9 of their last 10 games. Only loss in that span was to #11 Faulkner. A team that was a preseason #10 team, is starting to figure things out after a slow start.
13-5
23Arizona Christian
– 5 straight wins now for the Firestorm. O’Shae Williams has looked impressive as he is leading ACU in scoring at 15.4ppg.
13-4
24Hope International (Calif.)
– Lost two in a row coming out of break, but followed that up with 2 more wins after. A team that has some good wins on the year, including against #12 Carroll.
14-3
25Central Baptist (Ark.)
– The best team in the American Midwest Conference. They have won 9 of their last 10 games. Probably deserve to be higher, but it’s a crowded Top 25. Their stock is rising though, and as long as they keep winning they will move up.
11-3
