Semifinal Breakdown

No. 1 Florida College vs No. 4 Voorhees

Florida College completely dismantled Fisher in the Quarterfinals. The Falcons are without the services of 1st team All-CAC selection Anthony Bittar and 2nd team selection, Phat Cleveland. The CAC Player of the Year, Matt Simpson will have to carry the load even more this week and into the National Championships. For Voorhees, Hector Rosario and Tyler Wiloughby are the guys to watch for the Tigers. This is a group that is capable of taking down a shortened Florida College team, but they can’t let Matt Simpson get going early if they are going to pull off the upset. There will be a lot of bubble teams who are big Florida College and Iowa Wesleyan fans tonight!

No. 2 Iowa Wesleyan vs No. 3 Washington Adventist

This is a very sneaky game of the day type game. Iowa Wesleyan snuck out a win last night against host team Haskell. Them and Florida College have gotten all of the hype in the CAC this season. WAU has just kind of been quietly toeing the line and now they get their chance to really prove themselves. This is a win or go home game for them which also makes them more dangerous. The CAC Defensive POY, Mohamed Bundu and Ethan Murphy lead this WAU team. Henry Shannon and Joey Brown lead the Tigers. We will see if the scare from last night has any lingering affects on Iowa Wesleyan.
