Semifinal Breakdown

No. 3 Southern Oregon @ No. 2 Eastern Oregon

It remains to be seen on how many teams the Cascade will get into the NAIA National Championships. Southern Oregon continues to make its case though as the bubble team comes into tonight’s semifinal game after a 77-75 win over Lewis-Clark State. A win tonight would go a long way in helping their resume out if they are unable to secure an auto-bid. Eastern Oregon, who also pulled out a close QF win with a 82-76 OT win over OIT, can lock up the auto-bid with a win tonight and a COI win tomorrow.

No. 5 Corban @ No. 1 College of Idaho

College of Idaho is No.1 in the NAIA for a reason and they flexed their muscle in the CCC QF’s as they rolled to an 87-70 win. Storms caused this game to get pushed back a day, but the Yotes are riding the Nation’s longest win streak with 28 straight. Corban comes in after getting a big road win at Warner Pacific in the opening round. They are still in the at-large conversation if they can’t secure an auto-bid, but a big upset win over No. 1 College of Idaho, would be a HUGE resume win!
