Streaks And Notes

Top Streaks

No. 13 Indiana Wesleyan – 112 straight Polls (January 23rd, 2012)

No. 7 William Penn – 66 straight polls (October 27th, 2015)

No. 2 Arizona Christian – 24 straight polls (February 5th, 2020)

Notes:

Marian (IN) Top 25 streak ends at 38 straight polls. Last time they weren’t ranked inside the Top 25 was back in January of 2018.

Who’s New?

No. 18 Huntington (IN) – After 6 straight wins including 3 wins against the Top 25 in the last poll, Huntington makes a big leap from the land of Receiving Votes. They sit 1 game back of 1st place in the Crossroads League!

No. 19 LSU Shreveport – The Pilots did lose last night to rival LSU Alexandria, but that game was not included in the rankings. Shreveport had taken over 1st place in the Red River Athletic Conference prior to last night. Now they are tied with Texarkana once again!

Who’s Out?

Marian, after losing 3 of last 4 games after not being full strength, drops from 16th to out of the rankings. Still a very talented team, when healthy!

Texas A&M Texarkana slips from 24th to unofficially 26th in the RV portion of the rankings. There is a lot of parity in the latter part of the rankings, so while not in, they are also deserving of a Top 25 spot. 26th is where we had them in our poll as well.

Biggest Movers

No. 18 Huntington (IN) – Up to 18th from RV.

No. 19 LSU Shreveport – Up to 19th from RV.

No. 14 Florida College – Up 6 spots from 20th.

No. 16 Thomas More – Up 6 spots from 22nd.
