Top Players to Watch
Matt Simpson, Florida College – One of best guards in the NAIA. Matt is a walking bucket and comes in 2nd in the CAC in scoring with 22.3 points per game and has connected on 85 3-point field goals this season.
Chinedu Okonkwo, Florida College – 12.5ppg, 8.4rpg. Chinedu has a good motor and has put up big numbers this season! He is a tough matchup for any team in this tournament.
Devon Flowers, WAU – leads the Shock in scoring at 15.3ppg. Him and Pitt are set to have a big tournament.
Mastadi Pitt, WAU – Averages 13.7ppg. Pitt has had some big games over the past two seasons. Very dangerous player when he is on.
Tyrique Weaver, NNM – Averages 15.5ppg, 7.6rpg. One of the better Forwards in the league.
Cali Davis, Wilberforce – Another Freshman to watch. Davis is averaging 13.1ppg, 4.6rpg.
Joey Brown, Iowa Wesleyan – The Freshman is averaging 15ppg. He has been a real force for this team.
Josh Donaldson, Lincoln Christian – Ranks 3rd in scoring out of the players in the CAC Tournament. Averages 17.7ppg, while he is 6th in FG% and 8th in 3FG%.
Braxton Cousins, Crowley’s Ridge – Out of the teams in the Tournament, Cousins ranks 2nd in scoring at 18.9ppg. He also averages 6.7rpg.
Underdog Pick to Win CAC Tournament
Iowa Wesleyan – They are hosting the tournament but also have played a tough schedule this season. When fully healthy they have shown a lot of fight.
