Top Players to Watch

Antwaan Cushingberry, Saint Francis – Quite possibly your CL Player of the Year. 2nd in the CL in points per game (22.2), 1st in assists (83), 1st in steals (38), 2nd in FG’s, 3FG’s, 5th in A/TO ration, 13th in rebounding (92). Seems like every time Saint Francis has needed a big game out of him, he has delivered.

David Ejah, Saint Francis – Saint Francis boasts one of the nastiest 1-2 punches in the country in Cushingberry and Ejah. Ejah is 3rd in the CL in ppg (20.1) and 2nd in rpg (8.7). High motor kid who gets to the FT a ton!

Frankie Davidson, Grace – 18.4ppg, 6.6rpg, 2.3apg. One of the best scorers in the NAIA. Frankie started off the year hot and was the Nations leading scorer for about 2 months. However, he has struggled a bit as of late.

Zach Goodline, Huntington – 17.9ppg, 4.6apg, 3.4rpg. As good of a PG as their is in the NAIA. Zach can score when needed or can get teammates the ball too. He is a tough kid who has a big time basketball IQ.

Seth Maxwell, IWU – 17.8ppg, 6.4rpg, 1.7apg. Leads NAIA in blocked shots. One of the better big men in the NAIA. Seth can beat teams inside and out.

Christian Stewart, Marian – 17.7ppg, 3.7rpg, 3.4apg. Christian has been so, so good this entire season. He is 4th in the CL in ppg, 7th in assists, 1st in FT%, 3rd in 3pt%. One of Marian’s all-time greats!

Dan Largey, IWU – 16.9ppg, 5.2rpg, 2.3apg. When he is hitting shots he is one of the best shooters/scorers in the country.

Jason Hubbard, Taylor – Continues to be one of the more underrated players in the country. Hubbard led the CL in scoring at 23.1ppg and is 2nd in rpg with 9.1.

Zach Owens, Bethel – Averaged 16.1ppg, 2.2rpg, 2.1apg.

Josh DeHart, Bethel – Averaged 16.7ppg, 2.6rpg, 2.6apg.

Underdog to win CL Title

Huntington – Have wins @IWU, vs St Francis, and swept Grace on the season. This is a good team who is well coached and can win this tournament.

Grace – This was a Top 15 team not so long ago. While they struggled a bit down the stretch, this is still a young, talented roster, that can string together some wins in the CL Tournament and come away as champions.
