The GSAC is a very tough league. This past season The Masters won both the regular season and tournament championships. The toughness of the GSAC was respected as they put five teams into the NAIA DI National Tournament (The Master’s, Vanguard, William Jessup, Arizona Christian, and Westmont). The GSAC, had a lot of tough match-ups in the first round and Arizona Christian, as a seven seed, was the only team to find themselves surviving the gauntlet. Arizona Christian ended up winning their second round game as well, before falling to NAIA DI National Champion Georgetown in the quarterfinals.
