Mayville State (1-0)– Their games for this past week and this coming week were/are postponed as of this writing they are not scheduled to play until November 20th

Dickinson State (2-1) – Their scheduled game this week was postponed not scheduled to play again until November 20th

Valley City (2-1) – VCSU had an impressive weekend getting their first wins of the season and sweeping the NAIA Classic. Saturday the Vikings rallied in the second half to defeat Dakota Wesleyan 66-63. Connor Entzi had the go-ahead basket and led the Vikings with 25 points. Sunday VCSU handled Mount Marty 84-51; Eddie Oyet led the Vikings with 20 points off the bench. Have a chance to avenge their season opening loss as they host rival Jamestown Saturday.

(RV) Bellevue (3-3) – The Bruins have now lost three straight games after getting swept this passed weekend by two GPAC teams that (RV) in the first top 25 poll. Friday, they fell to Dordt 87-76, Lewis Hayes led the Bruins with 18 points. Saturday the Bruins fell to the Red Raiders of Northwestern College 76-60, Keshawn Bruner led Bellevue with 15 points. Bellevue will look to get back on the winning track with two games this coming weekend.

Presentation (1-2) – Picked up their first win of the season and ended a long losing streak dating back to last season with a come from behind win against Briar Cliff 55-48. The Saints had three players score 12 points to lead the team including Ian Kelly who had the go-ahead basket. The Saints struggled at the NAIA Classic. Saturday PC fell to Mount Marty 88-51; Ian Kelly again led the Saints with 12 points. Sunday, they fell to Dakota Wesleyan 71-48, Ellis Evans led the Saints with 12 points. PC has another great opportunity at home this week with (RV) Dordt and 21st ranked Carroll coming to the Strode Center.

Viterbo (0-2)- The V-Hawks dropped their first two contests of the season this past weekend. Friday, they fell to (RV) Northwestern College 84-70. Brady Polk and Jack Monis each had 18 points to lead Viterbo. Saturday the V-Hawks fell to (RV) Dordt 77-67 . Jack Monis and Robert Cunitz each had 16 to lead Viterbo. The V-Hawks will look to get their first win when they travel to Cardinal Stritch this week.

Waldorf (0-2)– both of their games this week were canceled. They are scheduled to play Tuesday at home against Grandview

Dakota State (0-0)- Have had all their games so far canceled or postponed and are not currently scheduled to play until November 27th

Pom’s Power Rankings

  1. (RV)Bellevue– Have now dropped 3 straight games but have played a tough schedule.
  2. Mayville State-Didn’t play this week still not a big sample size to compare to Bellevue
  3. Valley City-Two big wins over two GPAC teams. Have momentum as they prepare for another crack at rival Jamestown, this time at home.
  4. Dickinson State– Didn’t play this week have a lot of time to shore things up before their next scheduled game on November 20th
  5. Viterbo- Dropped their first two games of the season but were without their best player in my opinion Noah Fredrickson.
  6. Presentation- Picked up a nice win over Briar Cliff, but at the NAIA Classic. Have two great chances to prove themselves against top notch competition at home.
  7. Waldorf- Need to find a way to combat their shooting woes from their first two games.

** (Dakota State– Has yet to play. They have had many games postponed/canceled and currently are not scheduled to play until November 27th. (They will be included when they start playing.)
