Good morning NAIA hoops fans! As you’re sipping on your coffee this morning let us catch you up on what is happening around the NAIA Hoops world!

  • Woke up this morning realizing we had hit 4,000 followers on Twitter. We can’t thank all of you enough who follow us, and read our content. When we started this June 1st, we honestly thought it would take a lot longer for it to grow, but are humbled and grateful that there is interest in the site. We don’t and will never beg for followers, and we don’t do this for “likes” and “retweets”, we simply just want to put out the best information on NAIA basketball that we can. We have a lot of people who help out and I personally would like to thank everyone who helps to provide information, or writes content for this site. We will always look for ways to improve and be better, but today we simply want to say THANK YOU to all of you for your continued interest in the site!!
  • A special shout out to Central Missouri Head Coach Jeff Sherman on getting his 625th career win on Saturday. Now in his 35th season at CMU, Coach Sherman continues to move up the All-Time Coaching wins in NAIA. He is currently the fourth-winningest active head coach in NAIA DI. Under his guidance, CMU is in the Top 5 of all time program wins in NAIA DI history. It’s even more impressive that he continues to win while going up against four other Heart of America Conference coaches who are all in the Top 15 of active wins marks in NAIA DI basketball. Congratulations Coach!
  • We wrote about Xavier (LA) beating a NCAA D2 program on Friday. Well they came storming back from 24 points down last night, to get their 2nd NCAA D2 road win in back to back days.
  • Xavier is a team we mentioned in our NAIA DI Preseason Top 25. They have a good mix of talent, and when they are clicking and playing together, they will be tough to beat.
  • We DO have a really good 11:00am Central time game this morning as #11 LSU-Shreveport hosts #13 Science and Arts (OK). You can find all of the information for the game, including the link to watch below:
