The NorthStar Athletic Association is an 8 team NAIA DII league that features teams from Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

Presentation (SD) came away with the 2018-19 NorthStar regular season title, while Mayville State took home the NorthStar tournament championship, and the leagues only bid to the NAIA DII National Tournament. Unfortunately they weren’t able to keep the momentum going, as they lost in the first round.

New Coaches
Lucas Gabriel takes over at Bellevue University after being the Interim Head Coach for the final four games of last season. Coach Gabriel went 3-1 in those final four game of the season, losing in the NorthStar Tournament Championship game.

We are still waiting on the defending regular season champs to name a coach. I have heard that on campus interviews took place already. With school already starting, I would think this would have to wrap up soon!?
