BRACKETOLOGY

Southern States Athletic Conference

Coverage: October 26–November 1, 2026, through 3 p.m. Central on November 1. This is a verified-results roundup with the coverage gaps noted below; later Sunday results are not included.

Around the league

Life’s 96–91 win over Southeastern, Loyola’s 78–75 win at SUNO and UT Southern’s two victories stand out in the verified results. Mobile rebounded with a 92–88 win over Pensacola Christian. William Carey beat Milligan 95–80 in the NAIA-posted final; the league schedule still lists 95–80, so the competing score remains disclosed rather than silently merged.

No Top 25 win is established in the games verified for this recap; this is not a complete league-wide negative claim. Rankings refer to the October 21, 2026 Gared-NAIA preseason coaches poll, not NHR rankings.

Standout performance

Javion Dailey delivered 33 points, 12 rebounds, five steals and three assists in Mobile’s 92–88 win over Pensacola Christian on October 31. He made 10 of 23 field goals and 11 of 13 free throws. NHR Game of the Week

Life–Southeastern. The five-point finish and offensive production make this the editorial selection. This choice is based on the games verified for this recap, not a claim that every conference game has been compared.

W–L is from this conference’s perspective. Only opponent conferences with observed games are listed; omitted matchups and a middle dot (·) mean no game observed in this inventory, not a verified 0–0 record. The Top 25 row uses the official October 21, 2026 NAIA preseason poll, excludes receiving-votes teams and includes same-conference opponents. It overlaps the opponent rows and should not be added to them. Non-NAIA opponents are outside this chart.
