Recap
Three Teams Punched Tickets to the NAIA National Championships last night
- All 3 teams still are playing for their league Tournament Championship, but ALL 3 will be dancing no matter what!
- The Frontier Conference opened up Tournament play last night and already saw it’s first upset at the 7-seed, MSU-Northern knocked off the 2-seed, Bellevue.
- The GSAC continues to be really fun as both road teams, Benedictine-Mesa and The Master’s advanced to the GSAC Championship!
- Really cool for BenU-Mesa. Who is just in their 2nd year in the GSAC. Only won 2 conference games last season. Went 3-0 vs ACU this season and now playing for a GSAC Title!
- In The Sun Conference; We get Keiser/Ave Maria Round 3 today after they both won yesterday! Sign me up for that! Going to be a really fun game!
- Sooner Athletic Conference | After Nelson survived a 1st round scare, they weren’t able to overcome the host school, Oklahoma City in the Semifinals. Setting up a No. 2 Langston vs No. 4 Oklahoma City Title Game.
- For those that like interesting fun facts: After OCU beat Nelson. The 3 coaches remaining; Coach Wright (Langston), Coach Kohnke (OCU) Coach Galeyan (Wayland Baptist) were all head coaches at Central Baptist at one point or another.
- In the CCAC last night, Trinity Christian went down to defeat, ending their season. What a final ride for a school who is shutting its doors. David Osborn is a good coach. Someone will be glad they hired him. When he does get a new gig, I am sure a lot of these players will go with him. If not, please help find them new homes!

- Shawnee State and IU Kokomo– If both advance to Title game, no bid-stealers. If one lose, it opens the door for Rio Grande/IUSE to steal a bid!
- LC State/College of Idaho Winner. Other side of Cascade will see a bid-stealer reach the Title game and be 1 win away from stealing someone’s bid.
- Columbia (MO) – Any other winner in the AMC, and it will belong to a bid-stealer.
- Keep an Eye out on IU Southeast vs Shawnee State. IUSE had to forfeit some 1st semester games, but this is a team who had some big wins prior. If it wasn’t for the forfeits, we would have them IN the tourney. Now they are fighting for their season! Should be a really fun one!
