MVP of the Week
Avery Jackson, The Master’s (CA)
Probably no surprise here as I have mentioned him quite a bit this past week, but Avery had another big week and is in the middle of a massive 5-game stretch! This week vs Park-Gilbert, Avery had 45pts, 8rebs, 2assts, 1blk, 1stl. Then vs #19 Benedictine- Mesa, Avery finished with 25pts, 4rebs. His 3 previous games prior to this week, Avery had 25/5/3, 26/12/2, 38/9/4. Masters won all five of those games and now sit in a tie for 1st in the GSAC!

Defensive MVP of the Week
Ahmadou Aw, Shawnee State (OH)
In two games this week Ahmadou had 11 total steals including 7 steals in a big win vs IUSE! Vs Kentucky Christian, Aw had 14pts, 10rebs (6def), 4stls and vs IUSE he had 8pts, 5rebs, 7stls!

Coach of the Week
Kelvin Starr, The Master’s (CA)
As I mentioned above, The Master’s has now won 5 straight games. In those five wins, two are vs #10 Arizona Christian and #19 BenU-Mesa. Coach Starr’s Mustangs battled injuries almost the entire season so far but have finally gotten healthy and found their groove! Team to keep an eye on out west!

Defense of the Week
Hannibal-Lagrange (MO)
HLGU held both Crowley’s Ridge and William’s Baptist under their season averages by 10+ points this week. In the WBU win, they held one of the leagues top scorers, Deion Wesson to just 3-20 from the field. They also held the leagues best offense to just 31% from the field and 25% from 3!

Pippen of the Week
Kameron Johnson, Loyola (LA)
Kameron is small but mighty!! The 5’9 guard filled up the stat sheets this week to help propel Loyola to two big SSAC wins! Vs Point Kameron finished with 24pts, 7rebs, 11assts a block and a steal. Vs Brewton-Parker, 25pts, 8rebs, 7assts and a steal.

Onions of the Week
Dougie Peoples, College of Idaho
Dougie Peoples helped the defending National Champs to a huge road Cascade win with this great play design and big time shot with .8 seconds left!

Sniper of the Week
Jalen Langsy, Northwestern (IA)
What Langsy is doing from 3 this season is arguably one of the best shooting displays we have seen in the NAIA. On the season, Jalen is 88-176 and 50% from deep. This week he went 11-19 from 3 in two games including 6-9 from 3 in their win over Hastings. Mind boggling stats!

Stock Riser of the Week
LSU Alexandria

Rodman of the Week
Daryl Houston, TAMUT
Daryl set a program record with 20 rebounds in a win vs Texas College. Of the 20 rebounds, 13 were offensive. The 6’1 guard, finished with a stat line of 12pts, 20rebs, 4assts, 2blks.

Sophomore of the Week
Jesse Van Kalsbeek, Northwestern (IA)
Jesse has continued to put up monster numbers in his Sophomore season. He is a legit contender for National POY dependent on how deep of a run NWC can make! This past week, vs Hastings Jesse went for 26pts, 15rebs, 5assts and vs Midland he had 26pts, 14rebs, 3assts!

Freshman of the Week
Zo Clawson-Smith, IU Kokomo
Zo is a big reason the Cougars have now won 17-straight games! This past week, the Freshman had the programs 1st Triple-Double (21pts, 11rebs, 13assts w/4stls) in the Kokomo win over WVU Tech! Dunk of the Week

The picture goes hard, but the poster itself is just plain filthy! Don’t jump with Zion Hunter!
