NAIA MBB 2026 Bracketology Report
Welcome to the 1st edition of our NAIA MBB Bracketology Report! The first edition is meant to be a FUN one as we don’t, yet, have ARC Ratings, RPI/SOS Reports to back up some of the eye test results. There will be 35 auto-births into the NAIA MBB Championships this season, leaving 29 at-large spots! I want to reemphasize that this one is a FUN one. A starting point. Things will change drastically over the course of the next 3 months! Teams will play their way in and out of the tournament. There is still a lot of basketball yet to be played!
We are also without a lot of the selection committees criteria points. We will go more in-depth with Bubble Watch, Selected Games to Watch, ARC Breakdowns and more starting in January when the first ARC Ratings are released. We do get the 1st RPI data sets out December 8th, so we will keep updating the Bracketology Report alongside that schedule throughout the year. One big thing of note, we have new ARC’s this year, so it will be fun to see how those come into play! Here are the dates for each release:
