It happens every year, where a NAIA beats a D1. Last night, we nearly had two, as both Midway and Evangel were up against D1 opponents at the half.

Midway led by 12 at half over Morehead State, gave up the lead late and then missed a FT box out with under a minute to play that could have given them a chance to tie the game.

Evangel led UMKC by 4 at the break. They had their chances late as well, just couldn’t put it away and ended up losing by 6.

We had SO many former NAIA players with good games for their new D1’s last night! Look for that article later today! I will also be at the UNI vs Cal State – Northridge game on Thursday night to watch Tristan Smith of CUNE play!

Montana Western moves to 4-0 on the season and picks up their 2nd Top 25 win, as they knocked off #1 College of Idaho, 96-79 last night.

LSU Shreveport beat Oklahoma City at the buzzer for a 73-72 win.

Ottawa (KS) took down Baker (KS), 82-81.
